Hey y’all,
As a contributor to Marina’s great site, I thought to write a little Hello note to everyone of you, and to briefly discuss a very interesting topic Marina brought up – online dating. I will break a tradition of debating and tell you how I feel about it.
I feel awkwardly repulsed by online dating. I am positive, i am sure, that whatever the pro’s may be, whatever the results or the effectiveness can be, it can not be natural, it can not be positive or healthy in any way – folks; do we need arguments to prove so? Can you compare the feeling of reaching out for another human being, alive, breathing, with emotions that mach yours, with text flirting? Yes, the people on the other side are alive people too. But the vibe of the internet is unable to deliver this precious emotion: attraction.
Bottom line, folks. Go out and make friends. Girlfriends, boyfriends.
Whatever makes you happy.
